Von Wangenheim appears in mid-2000s German watch directories as a short-lived mechanical-watch microbrand (often dated around 2006, with some records noting closure by 2007). Press of the period described Swiss Made pieces such as the Saluki series and a Carrera Panamericana chronograph with motorsport inspiration.

Later secondary articles offer conflicting founding dates (e.g. 2014), so only the mid-2000s German microbrand episode is treated as reasonably documented. Public information remains thin; surviving references are mainly press releases and collector listings rather than an active manufacture site.
