Listing rules

These rules form part of the Terms & Conditions. Their purpose is simple: every listing on Stotna is for a real watch, described honestly, by someone entitled to sell it.

1What may be listed

Watches — mechanical, automatic, quartz, vintage or new.
Accessories — straps, bracelets, clasps, boxes, rolls, winders, tools, parts.
Every item is its own listing. One listing — one item.

2Data and photos

Brand, model and reference are chosen from Stotna's database. If something is missing, propose it — we review and add it.
Specifications (diameter, movement, material, water resistance, etc.) are entered in structured form. Free text is for history, provenance, service records and particulars.
Photos must show the specific item you are selling. Stock and catalogue photos, images from the internet and other people's photos are not allowed. At least three photos; we recommend dial, case back, side, clasp and every flaw.
Prices are in euro only. "Price on request" without a value is not allowed, except for barter-only listings.

3Authenticity

Every watch listing declares its authenticity:

Original — all-original parts, to the best of your knowledge.
Modified — an original watch with replaced or added parts; list which.
Replica — the item was not made by the brand it imitates. Replicas are clearly labelled and shown separately from originals.

A replica presented as an original leads to an immediate and permanent block. Buyers can report; every report is reviewed by a moderator.

Offering replicas may infringe trademark rights and applicable law. Stotna may remove such listings at any time.

4Condition and completeness

Describe the condition honestly on Stotna's scale and state what is included (box, papers, warranty, links, service history). Hidden defects, unmentioned repairs and replaced parts presented as original are misleading information.

5Not allowed

Stolen goods or items you have no right to dispose of.
Misleading descriptions, forged papers, edited photos hiding flaws.
Duplicate listings of the same item.
Listings whose purpose is to advertise another site, shop or service.
Contact details and prices inside photos to bypass the platform.

6How the deal works

Stotna is not a party to the deal. Buyer and seller agree directly — through the platform's messages, offers or barter. We recommend:

inspecting in person and meeting in a public place;
checking serial numbers and papers before paying;
no advance payments to strangers; for shipping, cash on delivery with an inspection option;
never sharing codes, passwords or photos of identity documents.

7Reports and sanctions

Every listing has a "Report" button with reasons: replica as original, misleading information, stolen photos, suspicious listing, scam attempt, prohibited content, other. Moderators may hide the listing, request an edit, warn, suspend or block the account. The reason is shown to the affected user in their account.
