Vollmer

Ernst Vollmer’s company began on 16 August 1922 in Birkenfeld when jeweller Ernst Vollmer and steel engraver Friedrich Adam founded Adam & Vollmer, initially making gold goods. The firm later specialised in metal watch bracelets and cases, moving production to Pforzheim in 1949—the historic German jewellery and watch-component centre.

Watch production under the Aristo line began in 1998; in 2005 the businesses merged as Aristo Vollmer GmbH. Today Vollmer/Aristo Vollmer is known for German-made pilots, divers and classic watches rooted in Pforzheim component craft.
