About Vixa
Historically, Vixa is remembered for French Air Force Type 20 chronographs of the 1950s: after Liberation, Stéphane Boullier and Kiplé in Besançon assembled Hanhart-based components into roughly 4,000–5,000 military flyback chronographs delivered from about 1954. A modern brand using the Vixa name (vixa1935.com) claims a 1935 Pforzheim origin and air-force chronograph heritage, though historians treat that story as partly unverified marketing.
Today’s Vixa1935 offers commemorative pilot-style watches for enthusiasts of Type XX lore. Descriptions distinguish the documented French military chapter from the revived commercial branding.
