Vincent Calabrese

Vincent Calabrese is an Italian-born, Swiss-based independent watchmaker who co-founded the Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants (AHCI) with Svend Andersen in 1985. Celebrated for unconventional displays—including work linked to the Corum Golden Bridge concept—and later brands and collections such as Spatial, Ottica and Hora Nova, he explores wandering hours, transparent architecture and novel escapements. His studio work remains a reference for creative independent horology outside industrial production norms.
