Urwerk

URWERK is an independent Swiss haute-horology brand founded in 1997 by watchmaker brothers Felix and Thomas Baumgartner with designer Martin Frei (Thomas later left). Based in Geneva, URWERK is known for satellite-hour displays, wandering-hour complications and futuristic cases that reinterpret time indication rather than classic round dials. Pieces such as the UR-100 and earlier UR-202 established the brand among collectors of avant-garde mechanical watchmaking, with small production and a strong design-engineering identity.
