Titus

Solvil et Titus (often marketed simply as Titus in Asia) originates with Swiss watchmaker Paul Bernard Ditisheim, who established the brand in 1887. After international expansion under later owners, the Asian business and brand rights were acquired in the late 1970s by Hong Kong entrepreneur Joseph Wong’s Stelux Holdings, which still operates Solvil et Titus through City Chain retail.

Today Titus is strongly associated with the Hong Kong and Greater China fashion-watch market—elegant quartz and accessible mechanical models—while retaining Swiss founding heritage in its storytelling. Country coding follows the current Stelux/Hong Kong commercial centre.
