Tavannes

Tavannes Watch Co. is a Swiss watch brand founded in 1891 in the Jura village of Tavannes by watchmaker Henri-Frédéric Sandoz. Sandoz combined technical excellence with industrial production, building a major manufacturer of watches and specialised machinery that later partnered with the Schwob family; the Cyma brand grew out of that distribution network. After independent production ended and the name passed through Chronos Holding in the 1960s, the Tavannes brand was revived in the 2000s as a family-run Swiss maker still based in Tavannes, emphasising heritage-inspired models, precision and Swiss tradition.
