About Schwarz Etienne
Schwarz Etienne is an independent Swiss manufacture founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1902 by Paul Arthur Schwarz and Olga Etienne. Early work included movements and watches under brands such as Alpha, Venus, Sultana and Le Phare. After the quartz crisis and private-label work for houses including Chanel and Dunhill, Raffaello Radicchi acquired the company in 2007.
From 2013 Schwarz Etienne launched in-house ASE, MSE and TSE movements, establishing a modern 360° manufacture identity—movement development, finishing and complete watches under its own name—aimed at collectors of independent Swiss haute horology.
