S.T. Dupont

S.T. Dupont was founded in Paris in 1872 by Simon Tissot-Dupont as a luxury leather-goods and travel atelier, later famous for lacquered lighters and writing instruments. The maison expanded into watches around 1980–81 with distinctive rectangular and lacquer-finished models that echoed its objets d’art aesthetic.

S.T. Dupont watches remain fashion-luxury accessories rather than a full Swiss manufacture story—often Swiss or Asian movements in designs that showcase Chinese lacquer and Art Deco geometry. The house continues to release collections such as Geometrie alongside its core lighter and pen lines.
