RSW

RSW (Rama Swiss Watch) traces its roots to a watchmaking workshop founded by M.A. Marachly in Damascus in 1914. His son Rafik continued the business, relocating to Biel/Bienne around 1970 and developing own models; the RSW name was later formalised for Swiss-oriented collections (company materials cite relaunches in later decades).

Unrelated to Raymond Weil, RSW today presents itself as an independent Swiss brand offering automatic and quartz watches with contemporary design. Centenary commemorations reference the 1914 Damascus origin rather than a 1905 date sometimes seen in secondary listings.
