Roamer

Roamer is a Swiss watch brand whose industrial roots begin in 1888, when Fritz Meyer started producing cylinder escapements in Solothurn. In 1905 he partnered with Johann Stüdeli as Meyer & Stüdeli (MST); the Roamer trademark, acquired via L. Tiéche-Gammeter, became so central that the firm was renamed Roamer Watch Co. SA in 1952.

Known for solid mid-century Swiss quality—including automatics and electric experiments—Roamer today offers accessible Swiss Made collections with classic and sport styling. The brand emphasises continuous Solothurn-area heritage rather than haute-complication exclusivity.
