About Pierre Cardin
Pierre Cardin is the French fashion house founded by designer Pierre Cardin (born Pietro Cardin) in the 1950s, famed for space-age couture and pioneering brand licensing. Cardin-branded watches have been made by successive licensees: Chromachron/Egana Goldpfeil in earlier decades, Marlox until 2017, and since then Mondaine Watch Ltd., which relaunched Pierre Cardin Watches around 2019.
Current collections are Swiss-oriented fashion watches that echo Cardin’s futurist design language—geometric cases, bold graphics—rather than a Cardin-owned manufacture. Founding year for the house is commonly given as 1950.
