About Perseo
Perseo is an Italian watch brand whose modern history begins in 1923, when Bologna-based Alfredo Degli Esposti acquired the name and partnered with Swiss maker Cortébert for production. From 1927 Perseo pocket watches were supplied to the Italian State Railways, making the brand a familiar companion of Italian railway staff for decades.
Swiss Cortébert movements were typically sold under the Italian Perseo name, linking Alpine manufacture with Italian identity. The revived maison continues to reference that railway heritage with Swiss-movement wristwatches aimed at collectors of historic Italian brands.
