Nivada

Nivada Grenchen was founded in 1926 in Grenchen, Switzerland, by Otto Wuellimann, Hermann Schindler and Jakob Schneider. The brand became famous for rugged sports watches—especially the Antarctic automatic worn by U.S. Navy personnel on Operation Deep Freeze (1955-56)—and the multi-function Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver chronograph launched in 1961.

After decades of dormancy through the quartz era, Nivada Grenchen was revived in the late 2010s with faithful reissues of the Antarctic, Chronomaster and other icons.
