Ming is a Malaysian independent watch microbrand founded in 2017 by designer Ming Thein together with partners. Based in Kuala Lumpur, it quickly gained a following for thoughtful, limited-edition designs emphasizing dial texture, refined finishing and unusual materials at microbrand prices. Collections such as the 17.xx and 19.xx series, plus collaborations, are typically produced in small runs using Swiss or Japanese movements and sell primarily direct-to-consumer.
