Gant is an American fashion brand founded in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1949 by Ukrainian immigrant Bernard Gantmacher. Originally a shirtmaker famed for the button-down oxford and American collegiate style, Gant later expanded into ready-to-wear and accessories.
