Benrus

Benrus is an American watch brand founded in New York City in 1921 by Romanian-American brothers Benjamin, Oscar and Ralph Lazrus; the name blends Benjamin and Lazrus. It began as a repair business, later assembled watches with Swiss movements, and supplied U.S. military timepieces in World War II and Vietnam, becoming known for models such as the Sky Chief chronograph and field watches. After bankruptcy in 1977 and successive ownership changes, the brand has been revived under Benrus Holdings with modern tool-watch collections.
